David Cleary is a fully accredited counsellor & psychotherapist with a BA Hons. degree in counselling and psychotherapy and works from his private practice at Blessington, Co. Wicklow. His work involves a commitment to finding ways to help people to address the anxiety that colours so much of their everyday lives. David focuses on exploring each person’s unique personality, their current and past life experiences and their assumptions and beliefs about themselves with a view to helping them to learn how to help themselves.
David charges €70.00 per session and works with people both online and in-person (Blessington , Co. Wicklow ) with clients who are affected with Work-related Anxiety, General Anxiety, Social Anxiety , Panic Attacks, Depression, Addiction and Trauma related Anxiety.

David’s approach to counselling is person centred and integrative , which means firstly understanding a person’s beliefs, personality, background, culture, and experiences in life and then tailoring the therapy to consider what methods will work best for them in addressing their anxiety, as well as being aware of the importance of working at the client’s own pace. David also has a keen interest in mindfulness and understands how helpful it can be in managing anxiety and will often incorporate this into therapy if he feels the client is receptive to it.
David will seek to find what works best for you to help you live in a way that will ease the burden of anxiety and to provide learning, skills and tools to enable you to live life with more ease. He offers both face to face and online sessions and you can make a booking with him below.
