Liza O’Grady
Pre-accredited Psychotherapist
Anxiety can feel like a constant background hum or a sudden wave that takes over your day. Liza’s goal is to help you figure out what your anxiety is trying to tell you, where it started, and how to dial down its power so you can feel more in control. Rather than using a rigid, one-size-fits-all approach, she blends a few core ways of working to fit what you actually need:
She also has additional training in working with neurodivergent clients (ADHD, Autism, and sensory differences) in a way that respects how your brain naturally works, as well as specialised training to support clients who have experienced sexual assault or domestic violence.
Liza has worked with clients who are living with general anxiety, relationship anxiety, and social anxiety. Liza charges €70 per session for in person therapy in Dublin 3, and online, individual sessions.

Liza O’Grady – Pre-accredited Psychotherapist
Rather than using a rigid, one-size-fits-all approach, she blends a few core ways of working to fit what is facing her clients.
● Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): To spot the thought loops and habits that keep
anxiety going, giving you practical tools to break them.
● Psychodynamic Therapy: To look beneath the surface and see how past relationships
or early life patterns might still be shaping how you feel today.
● Trauma-Focused Therapy: To help your mind and nervous system safely process
scary or overwhelming events so they stop hijacking your present.
What Liza Helps With
● Anxiety from Loss & Grief: Anxiety often hits hard after a major loss. Liza supports people navigating the deep uncertainty that comes with losing a parent, child, partner, friend, relationship, pet, or a career path.
Early Life & Adoption: Working through childhood trauma, family dynamics, or the complex emotional layers of adoption, whether you are an adoptee, a birth parent, or an adoptive parent.
● Work, College & Exam Stress: Helping professionals deal with workplace burnout, and working extensively with students struggling with assignment overwhelm, exam dread, or social anxiety.
Therapy with Liza is a down-to-earth, collaborative space where you can speak openly and honestly, to figure out what is going on under the surface, and build ways to move forward. Liza sees clients in her practice in Clontarf or online via Zoom, whichever suits you best. Prior to becoming a therapist Liza worked for 20 years managing diverse teams in some of Irelands largest companies and latterly owning and running her own marketing agency.
