I am an experienced therapist who fundamentally believes that each one of us has the capacity to change, grow and heal with support. I uses a range of therapeutic models to work with all elements of your life experiences. Respecting the uniqueness of each client I provide a confidential space where you can talk. I understand that coming to counselling can feel daunting and unfamiliar and so it is important to me that you feel at ease. Working together, I aims to support you developing awareness of difficulties that are arising for you whether related to past or recent events.
Sandra charges €60.00 per session and is available for sessions online and in person in Cork. Sandra frequently helps clients struggling with Relationship Anxiety, General Anxiety, Identity Issues, Bereavement, Social Anxiety and Panic Attacks, regardless of your life stage.

Together, I aim to support you developing awareness of difficulties that are arising and how they are affecting relationships, with
yourself and others. I provide a non-judgmental space to allow you explore your feelings, work through difficulties with compassion and acceptance. I integrate Person-Centred, Gestalt, Existential therapy I also use Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) to explore negative thought patterns and beliefs, with the therapeutic relationship at the core of my work. I believe that noticing what you are experiencing, feeling, thinking, behaving can give you a better understanding of your core issues and how they are impacting you. I provide an opportunity to review our work together to see if you are meeting your goals. As part of therapy, I encourage the practice of mindfulness, self-compassion and self-care as a core part of the healing process. I look forward to hearing from you.
